Product composition: 100% polypropylene Prolen®Siltex and Prolen®Bodyfresh
From the basic raw material, through the fibre to the final product, Prolen®Medical's medical clothing is made in Slovakia. By purchasing this product you will support our local economy.
All medical clothing from Prolen®Medical is also made of 100% polypropylene fibre Prolen®Siltex and Prolen®Bodyfresh, which is treated with a permanent antimicrobial treatment based on silver and zinc ions, and which meets the requirements of health safety according to the applicable legislation of the Slovak Republic and the European Union.
The Prolen® Medical product can be washed and sterilized several times until it is mechanically damaged. The product lifetime is a minimum of 100 washes with preservation of antimicrobial properties.
We recommend washing the product before use:
- Wash between 40ºC and 70ºC, recommended temperature 60°C,
- spinning is recommended at 400 rpm, max. 600 rpm,
- cleaning agent: any type, disinfectants including chlorine are allowed,
- do not use fabric softener to maintain the hydrophobicity of the product,
- drying: fast drying, zero water absorption,
- Dryer: recommended temperature 40ºC / max. 40ºC; duration: 20 min. + 5 min. cold,
- drying tunnel: recommendation 70ºC, max 70ºC, after the end of the washing or drying process it is recommended to hang or fold the garments immediately to reduce the number of folds,
- sterilization max. up to 135°C.
